The Solo-Baric L5 inherits all the same patented technology as the dominant L7 square woofer, with a hot new look and improved design for an even mightier performance.
The L5′s motor structure also handles extreme power with high-temp dual voice coils covering a new heat-dispersing, solid pole piece, a poly-cotton semi-progressive spider with perimeter venting built into the spider landing, and long-lasting spiralead tinsel leads. Altogether it’s a square-sub recipe for delivering superior bass.

I have had a 12″ square from Kicker several years (and models) ago. I loved it then and this one rocks also.
Hard to beat this for price and sound.

I installed this in a sealed enclosure in my ’09 Nissan Versa. I wired in parallel for 2 ohm resistance. I’m powering it using an Alpine PDX5 amp.
The sound is amazing! Excellent price and service. Highly recommend.

I originally bought one of these to upgrade my system, because the stock 6″ subwoofer wasn’t good enough. I liked it so much, i Had to buy another…. and another.
So, now I have three of these, two are powered by a soundstream STL 1.1200D, and the other is powered by a dayton home subwoofer amplifier inside my bedroom. It shakes the house, and my home amplifier is only 240 watts RMS. The other two flex the roof of the car and get really low also. Overall, these are great subwoofers for whatever you need them for.
